Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) is Canada’s leading career-exploration program, providing young people with meaningful opportunities to experience the world of work, discover diverse career pathways, and connect their learning to future possibilities.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Grade 9 students will have the opportunity to spend the day at a workplace of a parent/guardian, relative, friend or volunteer.
The Students Commission of Canada is the organization that supports this program and offers resources for educators and students. The 2026 TOKW Day Theme is Different Perspectives, Shared Direction.
