What is Cooperative Education?

  • A unique educational program that integrates classroom course expectations with practical experience in the workplace.
  • A full semester planned learning experience for which 2 credits are earned.

 

Types of Coop Programs

  • Ontario Youth Apprenticeship (OYAP)   
  • Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM): Health & Wellness, Business and Energy

 

Who is it for?

  • For students in Grade 11 and 12.
  • For students in all pathways.

 

How do I sign up for Co-op?

  • In February: Select C​o-op during Course Selection
    • Two credit | two periods co-op: COP3X0/4XO
  • Complete the application: http://bit.ly/bosscoopapp
  • Print, sign and hand in the application to the Co-op office, room 1043

Co-op provides you with an opportunity to:
