Opportunities in Social Sciences and Humanities
SHSM
The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM ) is a specialized program that allows students to gain credits toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and focus their learning on a specific economic sector at the same time. SHSM is a Ministry of Education approved program.
York Region Skills Competition
BOSS students have the opportunity to compete against other students in the board. Social Sciences and Humanities supports students who enter the Fashion and Culinary Competitions. We are proud to say that we have brought home many medals over the years.
